It has been a long time since I have posted. I thought I was more up to date then this, so I have a lot to report.
At the beginning of November, I took a trip to Indiana. I went on the Indy Wine Tour with some friends and family. We went to seven wineries in one day. We went to the following wineries:
1. Buck Creek Winery - I enjoyed their cranberry apple wine.
2. Simmons Winery - This winery also had some great cranberry apple wine, and I drank this with family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner.
3. Mallow Run Winery - I enjoyed the barn scene look and atmosphere of this winery more than anything.
4. Ferrins Fruit Winery - This was a nice little place, but they are not doing so well, so they will not be on the tour after this year.
5. Grape Inspirations Winery - This winery had some Fuzzy Passion (Peach Chardonnay) and Orange Sunset (Tangerine Pinot Grigio).
6. Easley Winery - I enjoy the Reggae series of wines, and the Cayuga White. I think I will be drinking some of the Cayuga White wine for Christmas dinner.
7. Chateau Thomas Winery - I wasn't really impressed with the wines here, but this was the end of our long day of winery tour.
The best part of the trip is that at the very end of visiting all the wineries and showing your stamped passport you get to get a huge wine glass that has The Indy Wine Trail on it and has all of the wineries listed on it.
